Each piece is created by Peruvian artisans who add their own special touch while embracing traditional techniques that have been passed down for centuries. Many Tikanchay designs are made with native stones, shells and even real butterfly wings. We also specialize in jewelry made with natural huayruro seeds, which are beautiful and used as good luck charms in Peru.

I have traveled to Peru twice a year for the last 25 years. Each time I returned with gorgeous handmade jewelry, which always received compliments from friends, family and strangers. Everyone wanted to know where they could buy it. In response, my partners and I started Tikanchay.com, offering this unique jewelry to women in the US.
