The mother of pearl used in this handcrafted necklace has a luminous quality. The intricate sterling silver setting showcases the shell, making it a special piece of artisan jewelry. A perfect jewelry gift for any woman who appreciates natural beauty. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/4" by 1 1/2", and includes an impressive handcrafted chain. The woven burnt silver chain is 18" long, handcrafted in .950 sterling silver and finished with a sterling silver hook and eye clasp.

Peruvians called this shell "Nacar." In addition to the beauty of its pearly iridescent shine it has traditionally been considered to have highly protective properties.  In mystical work it is used to heighten imagination and intuition.  We chose it because we thought it was a perfect addition to our artisan jewelry collection.

USPS priority mail shipping is free for all orders over $50.00. Your order will be shipped 1 to 3 business days from receipt of payment. If an item is out of stock and on backorder you will be notified via email within 24 hours of placement of your order.

If you choose USPS priority mail, you will typically receive your order 2 to 3 business days from the date it is shipped. If you choose UPS Ground, you will receive your order 1 to 5 business days from the date it is shipped, depending on your location.
